Oddball Aeronauts 2: Double the Trouble is a card game where you con’t actually need a surface to play. It’s also an expansion to the original Oddball Aeronauts, if you have that, but it can be played on its own as well. Confusing? Well, the video from Mavericks Muse is at least somewhat helpful.

oddball Aeronauts is a light strategy, play in the hand (no surface required) card game of dirigible duels set in a steampunk-esque fantasy world. It was originally funded here on Kickstarter in February.

In brief: Pick a Skill. Decide how many cards to play. Compare with your opponent to determine the result. Use special abilities and plan moves in advance to swing things your way where you can. You discard the cards you played and if you lose, could discard more . . . or your opponent could get cards back. You win the game when your opponent has discarded all their cards.
