Help potentially millions of children to learn to read and write.

  • $500,000

Global Learning XPRIZE has a lofty goal. They want to help 250 million children to learn to read and write, or at least some of them. This is the essence of their pitch:

The Global Learning XPRIZE is a competition to build Open Source software to teach a child to read, write, and perform arithmetic, by themselves, without a teacher. Teams will compete to win a $15 million reward to build this revolutionary technology.

$500,000 is a lot of money to collect, but it’s for a good cause, and it’s a believable team behind the project as well. And best of all, your pledges will be matched, giving even more to the campaign.

There are a lot of nice perks in the Global Learning XPRIZE crowdfunter, such as the signed Tim Ferriss book (running out fast), 3D printed mobile phone cases, and more.
